Since the beginning of the year, several sources announced the development of Super Mario 3D Collection for Switch. Renowned journalist Jason Schreier who has an excellent history of leaks said he was “looking forward to playing Super Mario Galaxy” in March.
It must be said that the famous series Super Mario Bros. celebrates its 35 years, it which was born on NES in 1985. Impossible that Nintendo ignores such a milestone. It’s also a great excuse to deliver improved games featuring our favorite mustached plumber.
The Super Mario 3D Collection will be known under the official name of Super Mario 3D All-Stars, a nod to the Super NES game. The collection will bring together several 3D Mario titles under one roof. Here are the games treated in high definition in this set:
- Super Mario 64 (1997)
- Super Mario Sunshine (2002)
- Super Mario Galaxy (2007)
What release date for Super Mario 3D All-Stars?
The wait will be short as the Super Mario 3D All-Stars collection will be sold as of September 18 at the cost of 79,99 $. Note that the physical and digital versions of the game will be offered for a limited duration until March 2021. Why? No one knows and it’s really weird.
What improvements for Super Mario 3D All-Stars?
According to official site, we can expect controls that will make use of Joy-Con technology, especially in terms of vibration. Screen resolution will also be improved and the full soundtrack of all three 3D Mario titles will be included in an easy-to-listen format.
In the case of Mario Sunshine, the screen resolution will change to panoramic (16: 9). We do not yet know what the resolution of Mario 64 and Mario Galaxy will be.
