In the summer, lines to Saudi Riyadh, the Portuguese cities of Faro and Porto, as well as the Greek islands of Mykonos and Santorini, will be added from brand new destinations. From mid-May, two regular flights to New York will also be launched. One to Newark Airport in New Jersey, the other directly to JF Kennedy Airport.

Several new carriers will also start operating at Prague Airport, including Air Montenegro, which will offer connections to Montenegro, the Icelandic Play with a route to Reykjavík and more. The number of flights on already active routes, such as those to London, Amsterdam or Paris, will be increased.

“Compared to last summer’s season, we will offer passengers 19 more destinations, although there will currently be a total of destinations in Ukraine and Russia. For comparison, in the record year of 2019, 190 destinations were flown from Prague, “said Jiří Pos, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Prague Airport. “Despite the difficult situation in aviation, we are still able to expand the map of direct connections from Prague,” he added.

Over the coming summer season, they will offer connections to most destinations of the Smartwings Group (75), followed by Ryanair (29), Eurowings (19), Wizz Air (12) and easyJet (11).

Even during the summer season, it is recommended that all passengers who have a scheduled flight always find out all the currently valid conditions for traveling to their destination and for returning to the Czech Republic before the trip. This avoids possible complications during check-in or border control.
