DUBAI, 23rd September, 2017 (WAM) – His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, Chairman of the Executive Committee of Smart Police Stations, affirmed the distinguished and pioneering success of the smart police stations experience in providing services to the public without human intervention and around the clock, and moving forward towards achieving… The government’s trends in anticipating the future and smart transformation, through specific initiatives and projects that support government work systems and building an integrated smart digital system.
This came while His Excellency chaired the thirty-fifth committee meeting at the Dubai Police Innovation Center, in the presence of His Excellency Major General Ahmed Mohammed Rafi, Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Administration Affairs, His Excellency Major General Ali Ghanem, Director of the General Department of Logistical Support, and Brigadier General Dr. Saleh Al-Hamrani, Deputy Director of the General Department of Excellence and Leadership. Brigadier Majid Sultan Al Suwaidi, Director of Al Barsha Police Station, and a number of directors of public departments and police stations and members of the committee.
During the meeting, His Excellency discussed the completion rates in the projects, the level of implementation, the smart services provided, and their compatibility with international requirements and standards to ensure that all needs of customers are provided easily, conveniently, and quickly in completion.
Lieutenant General Al Marri listened to an explanation from Colonel Badr Busamra, General Coordinator of the Committee, about the latest developments in the Smart Police Stations (SPS) projects, and the alignment of the strategy for establishing smart police stations with the Dubai Urban Plan 2040.
