The mayor of Dijon, François Rebsamen (PS), had promised one million entries. Opened more than a year ago, the City of Gastronomy and Wine of Dijon has since reached the desired million visitors. But these results are not unanimous: “a tremendous success”according to the town hall, while the municipal opposition cries “fiasco”. In reality, this figure only takes into account the number of passages. 40% of visitors do not spend money in the city, which surprises Emmanuel Bichot, opposition municipal councilor of Dijon (Côte-d’Or).
