He explained that the fund will offer 5 companies in the Abu Dhabi market during the year 2023, and these offerings are in the sectors of technology, health care and financial technology.
He pointed out that the openness of China represents a lot of commercial aspirations between the UAE and Beijing. “Despite the rise in interest rates and the global geopolitical situation, the non-oil GDP of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi grew by 11% in the first half of 2022,” according to Al-Shurafa.
Al-Shurafa added, in an interview with Al-Arabiya today, on the sidelines of the activities of the World Economic Forum in Davos, that the economies of the UAE and Abu Dhabi are ready for global changes with many initiatives, and he added: “We are not infallible from what is happening around us, but we are ready for any changes.”
He said that the Abu Dhabi Investment Office continues to attract foreign investments, and currently has 8 foreign offices, and plans to open 4 new offices in other countries during 2023.
He added that the UAE in 2021 topped the Arab countries in attracting foreign investment, with a value of $20 billion, an increase of 4% on an annual basis, and that it is implementing many development plans in 2023 that will have a role in attracting large investments, especially in the technology, health care and pharmaceutical sectors. vitality.
