Musician Jānis Stībelis has openly told about the craziest adventures together with the legendary singer Laima Vaikulis.
Both musicians participated in the show “Tell it loudly”, where Jānis told about the curiosities that he experienced with the singer Laima Vaikulis.
Last year, Stībelis was dropped from the stage during a concert in Kiev. It was the bright spotlights that had dazzled Jānis. During the rehearsal, Jānis had remembered where the edge of the stage was, but Vaikule had made the stage a little rearranged, which also embarrassed the musician, who found himself on the floor in the hall.
Stībelis also reveals that once he had to fly to a concert in Kazakhstan together with accompanying musicians, but the pilots said that the runway had not been cleaned at the destination and it would not be possible to land. While the others are confused and have already planned how to cancel the concert, Laima has said boldly – “let’s clean – let’s go!”
