The Struggles of Fabio Quartararo and Marc Marquez in the 2023 MotoGP Season

Jakarta

MotoGP not only presents competition but keeps admiration among racers. Brad Binder, the KTM racer, was sad and sad to see the current conditions of Fabio Quartararo and Marc Marquez.

Fabio Quartararo is the 2021 MotoGP world champion. El Diablo holds the MotoGP 2022 runner-up status.

Quartararo’s condition limped when he entered the 2023 season. Of the 10 races that have been held, the French racer has only been on the podium once in the American MotoGP.

Quartararo has repeatedly complained about the performance of the YZR-M1. Yamaha is also trying hard to perfect the motor.

Quartararo’s fate is felt to be better than Marc Marquez. The Baby Aliens, the 8 times world champion, haven’t even had time to taste the main podium again. With the new race format, Marquez has finished in the Sprint Race several times. But in the main race, Marquez was only able to finish the race (12) in Austria.

The two racers are even far behind the 2023 MotoGP standings. Quartararo is now in 11th position with a score of 65 points, and Marc Marquez is in 19th position with only 19 points.

The world must spin also applies in the world of racing. This made Brad Binder sad, seeing the world champions slump.

“It’s really sad to see riders like Marc and Fabio really struggling,” said Binder at the MotoGP Guru event.

“Because they are world champions, they are incredible racers. It’s sad to see them go down like that, so I can’t imagine being them, it must be even more difficult,” said Binder.

Brad Binder is currently in fourth place in the 2023 MotoGP standings. He has already packed 160 points.

But Francesco Bagnaia is getting stronger. After dominating the Austrian series last weekend, Bagnaia is increasingly comfortable at the top of the MotoGP standings. With an additional 37 points, the Italian racer has now collected 251 points.

Bagnaia opened a 62-point gap with his closest rival, Jorge Martin, below him and 68 points from VR46 rider Marco Bezzecchi who is in third place. While the championship still leaves 10 more series.
