But she was not the only coach of the famous figure skater. At first, the athlete worked under the guidance of an equally eminent mentor – Alexei Mishin. And leaving the coach was not easy for Yagudin.
For Mishin, among the skaters, the glory of a magnificent manipulator was entrenched. He could easily convince the ward of what he needed. Therefore, Yagudin prepared for a long and responsible conversation with the coach. He told the mentor that he was going to transfer to Tarasova if she accepted him.

Recalling that evening, Yagudin admitted that he also had doubts and even began to feel dizzy.
