It is a big decision which was taken by the prefect of Maine-et-Loire concerning amateur clubs and the Coupe de France. The latter has decided, as revealed West France, to allow clubs and players to train after the 6 p.m. curfew. This concerns the last two clubs still engaged in the competition and which are Angers NDC and Saumur. The Angevin club will play its 5th round match against Laval while Saumur will be opposed, on behalf of the 6th round, to Bonchamp, resident of R1. And now players from both teams will be able to train in the evening, which is very good news.
The prefect authorizes evening training
Because before this authorization from the prefect, the players, like those from Angers NDC, had to report to training at 6.30 am. A rather spicy schedule but which will not be renewed this week. The preparation of the Coupe de France will therefore be able to go more serenely for the two teams. Pierre Naudet, Angers NDC coach, also greeted the news with a big smile and he was able to schedule his sessions with more pleasure.
