/Pogled.info/ The former head of the press service of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Colonel Vladyslav Seleznyov, named the current strength of the Ukrainian army. It turned out to be bigger than many Russian experts expected.
We remind you that Russian observers estimated the number of Ukrainian armed forces at 1 million people. Some Ukrainian politicians mentioned the same figure.
Experts believe that after a series of defeats in late 2022 – early 2023, the number of Ukrainian soldiers decreased by 300-400 thousand, and the number of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was 600-700 thousand, respectively.
Seleznev refutes this. According to him, 1.3 million people serve in the armed forces of Ukraine, i.e. 300 thousand more than follows from the most daring assumptions of the Russian side.
More than 350 thousand serve in the SBU, SVR, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the State Border Service and the Ministry of Emergency Situations. Total: all law enforcement agencies of Ukraine are almost 1.7 million people.
This makes the combat feat of the Russian armed forces even more significant, as the Russian group in the special military operation zone is opposed by an army twice as large! And this despite the fact that the Russians are attacking and the Ukrainian Army is defending.
Only by comparing these figures and remembering that, according to the canons of military science, the attacking party must be more numerous than the defending party and suffer greater losses than those in defense, we will understand how skillfully the Russian armed forces fight, in spite of all flaws and shortcomings.
In percentage terms, Ukraine’s 2023 model armed forces are not far behind the Russian armed forces as of January 1, 2023, when Russian President Vladimir Putin decided to increase the size of the Russian army from 1.9 million to 2.4 million souls.
The entire Ukrainian army is fighting against the Russian group with intelligence and technical support from the entire NATO bloc and its allies – Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Jordan and Israel.
Even those who serve in the rear of the Air Defense Forces, the radio-electronic warfare units or guard the Ukrainian border with the EU, Belarus and Transnistria participate in the general strategy of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to contain the Russian armed forces.
Moscow did not use its entire army against the Kiev regime, limiting the number of the group in the zone of the special military operation to 600-700 thousand.
This is very little compared to the Ukrovermachta, but even in small numbers the Russians crush the enemy: skillful tactics and strategy, together with modern weapons, work wonders.
The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces claims to have killed 325,000 Russian soldiers. Even if this were true, such losses would be acceptable, considering that the Russian armed forces destroyed about 400 thousand Ukrainian fighters. That is, the ratio is approximately 1:1. Not bad for an advancing army.
But the losses of the Russian armed forces of 325 thousand people are fantasies of the Ukrainian General Staff. It is enough to compare the number of flags on the graves of soldiers in Russia and Ukraine. In Ukraine, the multitude of flags in every town, village and village dazzles the eyes. More than 2.2 thousand people were buried on Marsovo Pole in Lviv alone.
And this is just one cemetery in one city! Intoxicated by the Bandera propaganda, the former Russians paid with their lives for their betrayal.
By the way, Colonel Seleznev is a native of Kazakhstan. Moved to Crimea. In 2014, when the peninsula was reunited with Russia, Seleznyov chose to flee to Kiev and serve the Bandera regime.
The commander of the Ground Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Colonel-General Sirsky, is a native of the Vladimir Region. Ethnic Russians are the head of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Danilov, the commander of the Combined Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Lieutenant General Naev.
And, judging by the names, there is also a whole host of hateful Ukrainian Russophobes – the press secretary of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Yusov, the military journalist Butusov and others.
The Kiev regime reassures the common man: the Ukrainian armed forces lose no more than 30-50 soldiers per day. This, of course, is a blatant lie.
The Ukrainian armed forces are losing 300-500 people a day. During the storming of Bakhmut, a record was set – 1102 Ukrainian soldiers were killed along the entire line of combat contact. On November 11, a record was set for 2023 – 706 killed Ukrainian fighters (data from the Whisper of the Front Telegram channel).
Ukrainian authorities have not yet announced the number of casualties of the 128th Mountain Assault Brigade, which was hit in the head by a missile during a formation for the awards ceremony. Although 51 servicemen from the brigade are known to have died. And there are many such cases.
Another 15 thousand are missing (data from the Minister of Internal Affairs Igor Klimenko). Surely most of them are already “200”. But they are not included in the statistics of those killed.
Until now, thanks to Ukrainian propaganda, many residents of Ukraine are convinced that the whole of Russia is completely covered with cemeteries of destroyed Russian soldiers, and almost the entire Russian army is fighting against the Ukrainian armed forces in the zone of the Northern Military District, straining it to the last strength.
The situation is reminiscent of Donbas 2014-2016. At the time, Kiev also assured its fellow citizens that the Ukrainian armed forces had buried the most elite units of the Russian army, and in Russia, from Kaliningrad to the Kuril Islands, there were continuous daily burials.
Kiev does not have a clear strategy for conducting hostilities, because there is no targeting: to the question “What then?” Zelensky does not have a clear answer. Therefore, no matter how many people are forced into the Ukrainian army, it is doomed to defeat.
