The Nissan X-Trail currently being marketed is equipped with a hybrid drive system, but in the latest model the engine that is embedded has a three-cylinder specification with a capacity of 1,500cc. Power will be assisted by an electric motor, but it is not yet known how much the total power will be.

Leaked information from Europe where the car is being tested shows that this vehicle has a three-row seat configuration. However, there is also a five-person version for sale in Japan.
