As specified by the Municipality, the teams will carry out tasks during the week to achieve rrecover the road network in the sectors of the city where it was damaged by the rain.
The city prepared differently due to the weather alert and the water works responded to the rain over the weekend. The roads of the northern zone were the most affected so the Municipality outlined a series of works to recover the roads that connect Comodoro.
The tasks began, in the southern zone, in Bella Vista, Fraction XIV and XV as well as in the streets Code 748 and Concejal Ávila, of the Cordón Forestal, which connect with those neighborhoods. In addition, work was carried out on Tirso López street. Another of the strong points took place in the industrial zone, behind the company EDVSA and Urbana so that it could circulate.
They will admonish the municipal employee who sent alarming audios about the weekend rain
For this Tuesday, there will be a similar schedule. “The tasks on Tirso López street are almost finished, so we estimate that we will start in the Arenales neighborhood and continue intervening in the rest of Bella Vista Sur, such as Trevisan and 23 de Febrero streets. We are also going to continue with Concejal Ávila and the Petroleum Road, which is quite deteriorated after the storm. It is the road that joins the Roque González road with Poland and Route 26 and has a lot of traffic, so we will try to recondition it as soon as possible”, said Eduardo Navarro, Undersecretary of Community Services.
