The Streamers great success: 1 million viewers, fans beg Maan and Nick to release duet | Show

Royal Carré theater was converted yesterday into a cozy pub with regulars such as Guus Meeuwis, Nick & Simon, Acda & De Munnik, Davina Michelle, Typhoon and many others. Behind the bar was Paul de Leeuw who occasionally also sang a bit and as manager Frank Lammers walked into his Undercover-Ferry outfit between the artists. Meanwhile, the hits flew to viewers of the livestream. Especially because Bilal Wahib was present as a guest artist. He is currently scoring high marks with his number 501. His colleague Snel also strings together the hits.

Although the stream got off to a slow start – the support act was wasted due to technical malheur – the show itself was a great success. A few minutes before the start of the real concert, technicians got all the problems in order, which, according to the organization, ultimately allowed more than one million people to participate.

Someone jokes on twitter: ‘Breaking news! In a special meeting with OMT, the outgoing cabinet has just decided to broadcast the streamers live every Saturday in the interest of cheerfulness. ‘ Whether that will be the case is not yet entirely clear. But at the end of the concert, The Streamers hinted in any case, a sequel with the text ‘To be continued’.

Musically there was plenty to enjoy. For example, Bilal Wahib brought a special performance of I feel so damned alone, of course Danny Vera moved with Roller Coaster and Davina Michelle once again stunned friend and foe with her vocals. The highlight was the performance of Nick (van Simon) Schilder and Maan de Steenwinkel. They released their own version of Andrea Bocelli and Giorgia’s I live for her.

Meanwhile, the pair are already begging to release the song as a single. A message that can already count on more than 1000 likes on twitter. Someone else writes: “I can feel a number 1 hit from Nick and Maan.” And another fan adds: “Not for one thing or another, but Maan is a gift for the Netherlands.”

Before the concert, everyone who participated was tested for corona beforehand.
