“It’s actually relatively common to see green sky this, but the sky over Sioux Falls on July 5 did look greener than usual,” said Isaac Longley, weather expert from AccuWeather.
“The phenomenon certainly caught the attention of many people who had never seen the sky turn so green. In this case, the green sky persisted for between 10 and 20 minutes as the storm approached the town of Sioux Falls,” he added.
The hurricane that hit the city was quite intense, one of the impacts was that around 26,000 residents in the city lost electricity which was downed by the storm that was quite intense.
