The singer Shy’m became a mother for the first time of a little boy, on January 22, 2021. Happy and proud of her baby, the star frequently shares moments of intimacy (breastfeeding, vacations, walks, cuddle breaks … .) with his followers on Instagram. A baby and a new tattoo
Indeed, last August 26, the young mother caused a sensation in her black jumpsuit with a tuxedo spirit at the Series Mania Festival in Lille, after spending several months away from the spotlight (baby break requires). The former juror of the Dance with the stars show has walked the red carpet by unveiling a new tattoo located on her neck: the inscription in capital letters TAHOMA, accompanied below the date 01/22/2021, i.e. the day, month and year of the birth of her baby.
The story of Shy’m’s baby name: Tahoma
Questioned by our colleagues from Women’s Journal as part of the release of a Christmas tale entitled “The Christmas Girl”, Scheduled on Audible on December 16, Shy’m has finally confirmed the name of her baby boy and it is indeed Tahoma. How did she find it? She tells :
“I remember it was on the set of my music video called ‘Ensemble’, and at the time, I had the idea to call him Tao. I talk about the first name with my stylist, I was still pregnant, and he told me that his cousin’s name is Tahoma. Since I had heard the first name Tao on a few children, I found Tahoma very pretty and poetic. I wanted an original name. Her daddy and I also have an original name, so we wanted something a little out of the ordinary. It took a long time to settle on a first name and finally, we decided on three weeks before birth I like the mixed side of the name Tahoma: the fact that it ends with an A and that it is a boy. I like the idea that it’s not a gendered name. It is true that one could believe that it is about a girl’s first name, but it is a little the case also for the first name of her daddy and mine “.
Etymology of the first name Tahoma
The interpreter of the tube Woman of color also explained the etymology of his son’s first name : Tahoma is a first name of Native American origin which means “Snow-capped mountain peak“.
