It is the first of three siblings of “guinguette” type establishments. Its owner opened it nine years ago, before exporting the concept to Orléans, then to Voves this year. The story begins with a man, Maximilien Lheureux, and a city, Tours. “I was traveling there, and I saw the Tours guinguette, which is a pioneer in this type of establishment in the Center region”, explains the 34-year-old manager. “When I returned to Chartres, I had the idea of reproducing the concept.”
