He Galician Culture Council presents the story of Elisa and Marcela, the two women who they were married on June 8, 1901 in the Church of San Jorge, in A Coruña, in a designed band. This initiative joins the proposals with which the institution commemorates the LGTBI + Pride Day, held every June 28.
The comic has a script and drawings by Xulia Vicente. In addition to the publication, which can now be downloaded from the institutional website, there is a making off by the author herself in which the keys to this work are given. The story of Marcela and Elisa was investigated and made known, among others, by Narciso de Gabriel and has inspired films, exhibitions, plays and various publications.
