Kim Kardashian’s name also appeared in the FBI’s investigation regarding the biggest fugitive in Malaysia’s corruption case, Jho Low.
If previously it was said that he received a Ferrari car worth IDR 4.8 billion, now in the latest document it is stated that Kim Kardashian also received USD 250 thousand in cash or IDR 3.8 billion in a plastic bag at a casino in Las Vegas in 2009.
At that time Kim was called to be present at the birthday party along with Khloe Kardashian and several other celebrities. They partied in a private room in the casino with Jho Low.
According to Bloomberg, Kim initially wanted to say goodbye, but his friend held him back and said Low often handed out money. He finally stayed there and managed to win a game and get a lot of chips.
Kim chose to return the chips to Low, but the billionaire told Kim to keep them. He also exchanged the chips and it turned out to be worth 350 thousand USD.
Not only that, Low has also given Kim another luxury ‘gift’, namely USD 250 thousand in cash in a plastic bag. He brought the money back to Los Angeles not long after.
Apart from that, Kim also had a party with Low in Los Angeles and this time got 100 thousand USD in cash.
Previously, it was stated that Kim Kardashian got a Ferrari car from Jho Low as a wedding gift to her ex-husband, Kris Humphries in 2011. The car is estimated to be worth US$ 325 thousand, or around Rp. 4.8 billion.
Low Taek Jho alias Jho Low, is being hunted by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC). Jho Low is wanted in connection with the investigation by SRC International, which is a unit of the 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) company which was shrouded in corruption.
As reported by Malaysian media, The Star and Malay Mail, MACC announced that Jho Low (42) is being sought to assist in the investigation into SRC International.
Apart from hunting for Jho Low, MACC is also looking for someone named Nik Faisal Ariff Kamil Nik Othmand Arif Kamil (52) who is the Director of SRC International.
