Al-Marsad Newspaper: Citizen Khaled Al-Bawardi revealed the story of his work as a chef in one of the regions of Riyadh 30 years ago, and the secret of his free training for Saudis.
Al-Bawardi said in a report broadcast by Al-Arabiya that he was the first person to open a restaurant in this area 30 years ago, and at that time it was almost empty of residents, unlike what it is now.
He explained that he serves in his restaurant Saudi traditional food of all kinds, and he also offers types of Al-Marasie, Mama’s lentils and peasant salad.
He pointed out that he trained many chefs in various Arab countries such as Kuwait, the Emirates, Qatar and Riyadh, and that many cadres in the same field came out from under his hand.
He pointed out that the visitors to his restaurant are not only citizens, but also foreigners and their families come to it on Friday night after dinner, and that they like to eat popular food and ask for dried and blinded food.
Al-Bawardi concluded that he is ready to train the Saudis for free, saying, “Any Saudi who wants to train, come on my head, we love to serve our quarter and our people.”
