The Story of an 18-Year-Old Student in Kulon Progo, Underwent 25 Swab Tests to Recover from Covid-19

KOMPAS.com – After 77 days of being treated for exposure to Covid-19, an 18 year old student of origin Kulon Progo finally declared cured.

He had to be patient with repeated swab tests until the results showed negative.

“A total of 25 swabs,” said General Director of Wates Hospital, Lies Indriyati via text message, Friday (4/9/2020) night.

Having been treated since June 20, 2020 at Wates Hospital, the student was declared cured on Friday (4/9/2020).

My family contracted Covid-19

From contact with fish traders, the young man’s family also became infected, namely a woman aged 49 years and a man 50 years.

The fish trader was then declared cured some time later.

Following this, the two student families recovered at the end of June 2020 and in mid-July 2020.
