Aiptu Sri Mulyono, 43, a police officer who was a member of the team to review the bodies of Covid-19 patients in Yogyakarta, died at the age of 43 due to being infected with the Corona virus on Sunday (20/9/2020).
Commander of the Brimob Polda DIY Kombes Pol Imam Suhadi said that the deceased, who had served in the Detachment Team of the Biological and Radioactive Chemistry Unit (KBR) Sat Brimob Polda DIY, indeed breathed his last as a result of exposure to Covid-19.

“Yes, positive for Covid-19, most recently he used a ventilator in the hospital. Incidentally, his family, children, wife were also affected, and are now being treated in hospital, “said Kombes Pol Imam Suhadi, Thursday (9/24/2020).
He said Aiptu Sri Mulyono was known to be positive for Covid-19 about four to five days before being declared dead.
“He [Aiptu Sri Mulyono] volunteered since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic from March to June. “

While still on duty at Brimob Polda DIY, the late Aiptu Sri Mulyono was known as a person who was nervous about carrying out his duties. In fact, he often forgets the condition of his body while serving the community.
“He is extraordinarily dedicated. In fact, you could say he was too good to society. So sometimes we don’t see the condition of the body, ”said Imam Suhadi.
Imam had moved Aiptu Sri Mulyono to a position which he considered would give the deceased more time to rest. Aiptu Sri Mulyono was transferred to Samapta Polda DIY.

“I took a break, I moved it from Sabhara to Samapta. But sometimes he doesn’t know that we are still in contact with volunteers too. We haven’t moved in a month yet, ”said Imam.
Not only in charge of reviewing the bodies of Covid-19 patients, Aiptu Sri Mulyono is also active in spraying disinfectants to a number of vital objects in the DIY area.

Imam Suhadi gave a message to Brimob members who were assigned to volunteer for the handling of Covid-19 DIY. “I really ask for help, don’t forget your own health, take vitamins if you are tired of resting, don’t force it,” he said.
DIY BPBD Rapid Response Team (TRC) Commander Wahyu Pristiawan Buntoro said the late Aiptu Sri Mulyono served as a volunteer for handling Covid-19 at the Yogyakarta Covid-19 Task Force Operational Support Post from March 23 to June 30.
