Not many know that famous actors Andy Lau have adopted children who live in Indonesia. She is Ninuk, a woman from Salatiga.
During his life, Ninuk only knew he had adoptive parents from abroad. It never occurred to him that the person who financed the school was Andy Lau.
Ninuk only got information that the figure lives far from Indonesia, so there is a language difference between the two.
“It is known that only foster parents from abroad, from Hong Kong, then if at any time they want to come visit,” said Ninuk on one occasion.
“It’s just ordinary people, just different from us. Talking different, different countries, that’s all,” he continued.
In a broadcast on On The Spot Trans 7 several years ago, the foundation which bridged Andy Lau’s relationship with Ninuk revealed that his party had just learned of the same thing.
So far, the foundation only knows there is a man who voluntarily becomes a foster parent for a child from Indonesia. His side didn’t know at all if that figure was Andy Lau.
“I don’t know, when people came, I was surprised to know that it was Andy Lau,” said Rossiati.
He also revealed, all this time Andy Lau also asked to remain anonymous in order to protect his privacy. Rossiati only realized when Andy Lau adopted Ninuk as his son, the actor was indeed at the peak of his prime.
“Nothing, no one should know that Andy Lau is coming. If only you knew, when Andy Lau was just top-top,” said Rossiati.
24 years ago, Rossiati called Andy Lau’s stature different from today. “He used to be small,” he explained remembering his first meeting with Andy Lau.
