Ryo Eki Pranata (20) took advantage of the windfall of IDR 500 million to continue trading crypto-. Its assets now reach Rp 5 billion. In fact, he was able to pay off his parents’ debt of Rp 700 million.
“My wish when given a lot of sustenance, free my parents from debt. Because even though we have a lot of money, but parents still have burdens, we can’t be happy,” said Ryo to detikfinance, Wednesday (12/22/2021).
The youngest of two children of the couple M Umar (53) and Sumi Astutik (46) explained that his parents had borne hundreds of millions of debts since he was in class X SMA or 5 years ago. His parents were in the business of producing shoe sole molds.
“The debt value is IDR 700 million. In the past, parents held the social gathering in the village, the money was turned around, the people who borrowed it didn’t want to return it. Finally, to cover it, borrowed it from the bank, not to mention other debts,” explained Ryo.
The heavy burden borne by his parents prompted Ryo to take advantage of the windfall from buying Shiba Inu coins. The Rp 500 million he received in May 2021, he turned it around for trading other types of cryptocurrencies. It also serves website creation as a new type of digital currency platform.
“Because the debt is a lot, if I don’t turn around Rp 500 million again, it won’t be enough,” he said.
Ryo’s noble intentions finally bear fruit. He was able to pay off all of his parents’ debts of IDR 700 million in October 2021. So that his parents’ house certificate which was used as collateral in the bank could be returned.
“Parents are happy, you’ve always been a strong figure, he even cried because he was moved,” said the 5th semester student of the D3 Digital Business study program, Universitas Brawijaya, Malang.
At a very young age, Ryo now has assets of IDR 5 billion. He continues to pursue cryptocurrency trading and website creation as a new type of digital currency platform. In the future, this young man from Bandung Village, Gedeg District, Mojokerto wants to start a business in other fields.
Due to a friend’s suggestion, Ryo bought Shiba Inu coins on the digital currency trading platform Hotbit in February 2021. At that time, he bought around 2 billion Shiba Inu coins for only IDR 500,000.
This 2019 graduate of SMAN 1 Puri, Mojokerto had forgotten to ever buy crypto currency. Ryo is reminded by his friend that the price of Shiba Inu coins has gone up thousands of times. Sure enough, he sold 2 billion of the digital currency, earning IDR 500 million in May 2021.
