The Race Committee of the 37th America’s Cup has announced that the matches of the second day of the second round of the Louis Vuitton Cup scheduled for this Wednesday are postponed to Thursday due to the weather forecast, which announces rain and thunderstorms over the Barcelona regatta course.
Following the inclement weather on Tuesday, which prevented the last two races of the day from taking place, Regatta Director Iain Murray has decided postpone duels for the safety of vessels, crews and support personnel at sea.

There could be five clashes on Thursday
In addition to the cancellation of the Louis Vuitton Cup regattas on Wednesday, the decision was also made to close the America’s Cup Rambla and all areas designated for fans.
The Race Committee is considering holding five matches this Thursday. If this were possible, Friday would be a rest day and Saturday, the penultimate day, would be another five games to bring the calendar up to date.
