Of the Economic index of the consulting company Sentix for Germany rose for the fourth time in a row in August. Since the expectations were stable, the overall index for Germany with minus 4.5 points is “only marginally” away from the expansion threshold, added Hübner. Evidence of the above-average increase in Germany is likely to have been the surprisingly good incoming orders in German industry in June. Year-on-year they increased by 27.9 percent.
