The state of Bremen reports 116 new corona infections and one death

116 new corona cases in the state of Bremen, that is the balance of the Bremen health department on Wednesday. 95 new infections were registered in the city of Bremen – 21 in Bremerhaven. In addition, the authority reports another death in the city of Bremen. 73 other people have recovered. The number of active infections in the country has increased by 42 to 1,085.

This reduces the 7-day incidence in the city of Bremen from 77 to 71.5. In Bremerhaven the value rises from 78.1 to 82.4.

Location in the Bremen hospitals

In the state of Bremen, 167 people currently need inpatient care, 31 of them in intensive care units. 19 of the people treated in intensive care must be ventilated. 117 of the inpatients treated are citizens of the state of Bremen. 26 people have to be treated in intensive care units, 15 people are ventilated. The health status of at least 41 people must be described as poor or critical.

Location comparable in districts

The health department again published figures from the Bremen districts. “All parts of the city are now following the general course of infection in the city of Bremen,” says a press release. The infection process is therefore distributed relatively evenly over the urban area and shows only a small variance. The number of new infections is also continuing to decline in districts that were previously more severely affected.
