“The bet on NFTs never had a basis,” says art expert Kolja Reichert, “everyone thought for one summer that everyone had to take part”. According to the book author, the revolution did not happen, but NFTs still have great potential to liberalize the art market and distribute profits fairly and sustainably.
“One often has to deal with a strange enchantment with NFTs,” says curator of the Bundeskunsthalle and author of the book “50 questions about art”. Many think it is art and has art character, but an NFT is “an entry on the blockchain to which you can only link a work of art”.
