“The start of the new school year went very well,” confided Lise Rivière, director of the Épis d’or school group in Saint-Paul-de-Varces. We had taken over the school’s end-of-year song, planet of love , and put on music in the yard to welcome the students. The primary school has 307 students this year (including 99 in kindergarten, with four classes) compared to 287 in 2022, which has enabled the opening of a 12th class. The new class has been fitted out and benefits from new school furniture. “A real breath of fresh air”, noted Valérie Cazaux, elected at school. Two new teachers (Mrs. Bouchet and Di Natale) also returned to school on September 4th. The common thread of the year will relate to the continents, the countries and the Olympics. Another novelty: the arrival of a sports speaker, Dominique Collet, one day a week.
