Honored Artist of Russia Roman Madyanov died at the age of 63. TV presenter Ekaterina Strizhenova reported this on her Telegram channel.
“How it’s always warm and nice to be around you. And say that you are a pleasant artist, I always noticed your talent, and you were ashamed and scolded… You are loved all over the country. How difficult it is to accept this news.” – the message says.
Roman Madyanov was born on July 22, 1962 in the city of Dedovsk, Moscow region. After graduating from GITIS, he was accepted to the Moscow Theater named after Vladimir Mayakovsky.
The first film of the artist took place at the age of 11, he played Huckleberry Finn in the film “Completely Lost”. Since 1989, Madyanov constantly plays in films. He has worked in more than 200 projects, including feature films and TV series. In 2024 alone, about 10 films and TV series will be released with the participation of Madyanov, including the 12th season of Sklifosovsky, Correction and Punishment 2, Doll, Battle of the Popes and other films.
Madyanov received the Nika Award four times for the Best Supporting Actor, the winner of the Golden Eagle Award twice: for the best actor (film “12”) and for the best actor in a supporting role (film “Leviathan”).
