The Standing Committee of the Martial Arts Hall of Fame has a new board of directors

Sports leader Norberto Puello has been elected president of the Permanent Committee of the Martial Arts Hall of Fame of the Dominican Republic (SAFAMRD) for the period 2024-2026 in the recently held election assembly.

In addition to Puello, the new board of directors of the SAFAMRD permanent committee includes William Duke, president ad-vitam; Héctor O’Reiily, first vice president; Henry Rodríguez, second vice president, and Orlando Sturla, third vice president.

The coaching staff is made up of José Mora (Fedotae), first vice president; Manuel Coronado (Fedokarate), second vice president; José Figueroa (Fedojudo), third vice president; Ángel Ramos Brusiloff, general secretary; Nelson Brugal, co-secretary; Jorge López, treasurer, as well as the members Rafael Almonte, Eduardo Mejía Jabib and Rafael Guerrero.

The new members of the permanent committee will have the responsibility of continuing to strengthen the promotion and development of martial arts in the country, through the exaltation and recognition of martial artists in view of the XIII ceremonial that will take place in December of this year.

The SAFAMRD’s main mission is to exalt immortality and recognize the athletes, promoters, leaders and institutions of the martial arts of the Dominican Republic who have stood out nationally and internationally and who have contributed to the formation of moral and ethical values ​​in the Dominican population, as explained by our social statutes.
