Traveling on the coasts of France or in the mountains
Jacqueline Camus, the secretary of the group, and Madeleine Cousin, invite the visitor to a getaway by train in the 1930s.
The two collectors take her to all the coasts and all the massifs of France through their postcards featuring tourist posters from railway companies and old photos.
“We first made a map of France and then we declined by zones. We need not forget our region with Néris-les-Bains, Vichy and Cantal. »
Jacqueline Camus (secretary of the Montluçonnais philatelic group)

72nd stamp festival in Montluçon (Allier): a great opportunity to rediscover the pleasures of travel
Collections outside the theme
Sylvette Severin is always looking for new cards for her collection.
Not hesitating to go outside the theme, Sylvette Severin unveils part of her impressive collection of postcards on animals.
“I invented the city of Joliville where the animals are happy. I chose the theme of sport and leisure. These are cards from the 1930s-1940s. I sometimes buy recent cards but it really depends on the design. I’m always on standby to expand my collection,” admits Sylvette Severin, with a mischievous smile.
The Stamp Festival is open Saturday March 12 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday March 13 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Free admission. Compulsory vaccination pass.
