Demand may have dropped a little bit. The prices, on the other hand, are not. Prices have either stayed the same or become much more expensive. And I’m not just talking about GPUs, but also about many other products such as smartphones, monitors, etc. There is a stagnation in price/performance for a huge number of products. If that price would finally keep up with the times and therefore fall somewhat, the number of purchases will also rise again and they will see that “demand” has not fallen that much.

So when they reduce production so that prices don’t have to fall (like Samsung), then I think they achieve just the opposite. But I haven’t done any research on it…

Oh well…depends on how you look at it…
