A country, rock, pop poster
Tim Hicks shared the poster of Heart stroke with the legendary group Loverboy and singer POESY, from Toronto. “I didn’t know POESY, so I can’t wait to meet her and listen to her,” the singer told us before the concert. “As for Loverboy, they are part of my inspirations, I am delighted to meet them tonight!”
On stage, the country singer was preceded by Loverboy. Without having aged a bit since the 80s, the rockers gave the public a more than successful performance. Loverboy wowed the crowd with his legendary hits Turn Me Loose et Working for the Weekend.
Before them, the concert opened with the fabulous POESY, rising star of the indie pop scene. The singer captivated the audience to the sound of Diamonds or Soldier of Love. POESY has of course interpreted Steel Heart/my heart of steel, the official anthem of the 2022 Canada Games.
Tim Hicks ended the concert in style with his greatest songs. The audience sang along to the sound of Stronger Beer, No Truck Song or Loud. Even his new titles were already known by many fans present this evening.
Between pop, rock and country, the concert Heart stroke seduced the public, who came en masse to applaud his idols. A beautiful concert while waiting for the 28th edition of the Canada Games, from August 6 to 21 in the Niagara region. The Games will welcome 5,000 young athletes, supported by almost as many volunteers. Held every two years, it is the largest multi-sport event in the country.
