Earlier this year, Square Enix unveiled a new role-playing game called The DioField Chronicle. The developer has now set a date for the project, and the launch will be 22 September this year.

As Square reported in March, The DioField Chronicle features tactical battles that take place in real time. It’s all built on a new combat system called Real Time Tactical Battle, which emphasizes strategic thinking to deal with enemies.
As for the story, the game invites you to a beautiful world, which is hit by war and hard battles. In the role of the mercenary gang Blue Fox, one must resist evil and find a way to save the world. Classic Square Enix setup, that is.
In addition to the release date, it was also confirmed that a demo is on its way. This will be available from August 10, and allows players to experience the introductory parts of the game. Square points out that you get to take the progress further from demo to full version.
The DioField Chronicle comes to PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S and Nintendo Switch. You can see a trailer for the game at the top of the article.
