#24 I have lived in many countries: Mexico, Chile, USA, Germany, Italy and the United Kingdom.
The United Kingdom has been the country where I have received the most. And where I have felt, by far, poorer.
A shitty attic. in a shitty town, Haverhill, 25km from Cambridge and 100km from London. £600 a month 7 years ago. It shouldn’t even have been 20m2. Washbasin with shower and a space with a kitchen and next to it a room without a door in which only a double mattress could fit, if it went through the sides and on the floor, because you already hit your head like that, with an impossible bed. I have looked for something similar taking Madrid as a reference. It would be Argés. Look for it, it is in the province of Toledo. A town.
The British, in the country where I have felt worse. The price of things, at the height of what I say. Everything very expensive.
So clear: A fucking country shit. I prefer, to give a comparable example, a million times Germany. And where I felt better globally, salary/relationships/country balance, was Chile. Before Piñera destroyed it, of course. But of course, the United Kingdom the worst of all.
