Bologna, 18 July 2023 – The light breaks into the Fair District, enveloping the beams of light Towers by Kenzo Tangeilluminated by the Pleiades on the occasion of a live performance, which combines music, dance and videomapping under the stars, leaving the spectators, who arrived by the hundreds, speechless.

Ma the big showafter tonight’s preview, continues tomorrow, for a second date. A cultural image, which combines visual and auditory art, through musical notes and forms of augmented reality, involving the urban context of the large towers at the headquarters of the Region, designed by the Japanese architect in the seventies.
The goal is to enhance the 83 meters of height along which the architectural work develops, through the event of Bologna Festival, made possible with the support of the Ministry of Culture, Alfasigma, the Municipality, Bologna Fiere and the Region.
Seven songs wind through the evening, with different artists on stage. On percussion is Simone Rubino, with Luca Agnani (video art), and Matias Mucchi Alonso as director. There are Ravindra Della Bina, sound designer, and Roberto Mazzaro, light designer. All accompanied by choreography by Paxton Ricketts. Music breaks through the crowd, with melodies of the twentieth century, with the accompaniment of percussions, which move fragile and suffused, as in the piece Music for Pieces of Wood by Steve Reich, but at the same time know how to be strong and determined, as in Pléiades, by Iannis Xenakis, which gives the title to the show and which closes the evening, also creating a dialogue with videomapping.
