The formations have already agreed on the structure of the government. There will be only one deputy prime minister under the prime minister, who is currently expected to be Kiril Petkov. However, the food safety agency will go to the Ministry of Justice.
The deputy prime minister will most likely be Alexander Dunchev and he will supervise the forestry agency, which becomes state-owned, as well as the nature protection from the eco-ministry, which is also removed from it and goes to the Ministry of Justice.
The central coordination unit for European funds, which is now in the Ministry of Finance, and the executive agency for auditing the European agricultural funds will be assigned to the Minister of Finance Asen Vasilev.
There will be no changes in the Ministry of the Interior, regional development, labor and social policy and defense.
The agency for Bulgarians abroad and the “Religions” directorate from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will now be attached to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Department of Judicial Protection from the Ministry of Justice goes to the Ministry of Justice.
For now, no reforms and changes in education, healthcare and culture are foreseen.
However, the Eco-Ministry takes over from the economy the management of “Eco Anthracite” EAD and “Ecoengineering” OOD – companies now under the umbrella of the State Consolidation Company.
The Ministry of Agriculture will take over the management and management of dams from DCK.
And API from MRRD goes to the Ministry of Transport and Communications.
The Agency for Scientific Research from the Ministry of Economy is now subordinate to the Ministry of Economy. It also takes the fund of funds from the MoF. And the state oil company is closing down.
