The Spanish Theater reopened | The Arena La Pampa

With a function suitable for the whole family, yesterday the doors of the Spanish Theater were reopened. With sold-out tickets, “Songs to watch” by the theater company “Disfrazades de sol” was presented. This work pays tribute to María Elena Walsh, 10 years after the death of the writer and singer.
With a mostly child audience, including many children who were coming to see a play for the first time, the Spanish Theater was once again filled with shouts, laughter and applause. To make this possible, a sanitary protocol was applied that required the advance sale of tickets, authorization of only 30% of the capacity (126 people in total), body temperature control, supplies of sanitizers at the entrance and seats located with social distancing between family groups.
The version of “Songs to watch” that the cast of “Disfrazades de sol” premiered managed to mix theater, music and clown. It was a show composed of crazy dialogues but also songs that recover folklore with live music and a permanent game on stage.

“Very happy”.

“We are very happy to be able to return to the theater and share our work with all the people who came to this first performance,” explained Carolina Bergonzi, a member of the cast with Victoria Rayen Mario, Espain Lía and Juan Fadón.
For her part, Vanesa Gonzalez, general director of the play, said that she felt “excited” with the premiere and highlighted the work of the technical and administrative team of the Spanish Theater. «We are very grateful to all the theater staff who were so attentive welcoming people and taking care that all the people who came felt good and safe. And specifically I also want to thank the technical team that the theater has because they treated us very well and made it possible for the show to be wonderful, “he added.
Today will be the last performance of “Songs to watch”, starting at 5 pm.
From the commune it was also reported that the Spanish billboard for the rest of July can be consulted on the theater’s social networks.
