My country have been called up after Jose Gaia was left off the squad in the Qatari capital, Doha, with a right ankle injury.
Gaia, left-back at Spanish club Valencia, has been forced out of the Spanish international training camp two days after injuring his right ankle in training.
Spain will open their World Cup matches against Germany on November 27 at the Al-Bayt stadium, and will later face Costa Rica and Japan.
