The native of the Canary Islands received the diagnosis in 2014 when she was pregnant with her young son.
She made the decision to start chemotherapy and radiotherapy from the 33rd week of pregnancy, but the disease spread rapidly.
Some time later, this Spaniard used both platforms to tell about her treatments.
Always positive
But, above all, to send positive messages like this: “How beautiful life is, a little more”, which used to be her daily motto.
Hilda danced, responded to messages from the thousands of people who follow her accounts, appeared in costumes, asked for more research against the disease and never stopped smiling.
“I live with my smile”, he wrote along with some of his videos that became an inspiration for his more than 1.5 million followers on TikTok and 331,000 on Instagram.
His last post was made last night: “The end always surprises, even if it is written from the beginning. Don’t forget to smile! I will do it from heaven”.
“A tireless fighter, an example of life in the face of adversity, leaves us today,” published the mayor of the town of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, José Manuel Bermúdez.
Various celebrities mourned Hilda’s death and appreciated that until the last of her days she always smiled and encouraged to live with optimism.
