Until August 6th there is music in the middle of the green at the open air in the park in Bad Krozingen.
For the open air in the park, the Bad Krozinger Kurpark has been transformed into an open-air stage. Until August 6th, a music and entertainment program is offered in the middle of the countryside. The organizer is the Kur und Bäder GmbH Bad Krozingen.
With the Philharmonic Orchestra Freiburg there will be “pure classical music” under the starry sky on Wednesday, July 28th, from 8 pm in the Kurpark. The program includes “Serenade for Strings” by Max Bruch, “A Concerto for Trumpets and Strings in E Flat Major” by Johann Georg Neruda, “Pastorale d’été” by Arthur Honegger and a “Serenade for Strings” by Peter Iljitsch Tchaikovsky “. In addition, the soloist Selina Ott will be heard on the trumpet. At the age of only 20, she was the first woman ever to win first prize in the trumpet category in the seventy-year history of the ARD music competition. Nicholas Milton, Chief Conductor and Artistic Director of the Göttingen Symphony Orchestra since the 2018/2019 season, will head the Freiburg Philharmonic Orchestra on this evening. “Phil the genesis” and the “Phil Collins tribute show” will come to Bad Krozinger Kurpark on Friday, July 30th, from 8.30 pm. Musically and visually incredibly close to the original – that is the eleven-person group together with the singer and entertainer Jürgen “Phil” Mayer. In two and a half hours, the audience experiences a pulsating show with energetic live musicians and in the center a frontman who convinces with charisma, wit and charm. You can hear world hits like “Against all odds”, “Another day in paradise” and “Carpet crawlers”. But lesser-known Phil Collins and Genesis songs are also intoned.
“Klaus Doldinger’s Passport feat. China Moses” will play on Saturday, July 31st, from 8pm. The famous saxophonist Klaus Doldinger has been on stage for over 60 years. He is one of the most successful composers of film music and TV melodies and wrote the theme music for the TV series “Tatort” as well as the soundtracks for the movies “Das Boot” and “Die unendliche Geschichte”. At the open air in the park, he will be on stage with his band Passport and jazz singer China Moses and ensure an unforgettable concert experience.
The rocking end of the Open Air im Park 2021 will be the Spider Murphy Gang unplugged on Friday, August 6th, from 8.30 p.m. In 2017 the Bavarian band, with rock ‘n’ roll in their blood, celebrated their 40th anniversary and are still touring the country with passion and energy. This time without electricity and yet just as dynamic and thrilling as with electrical instruments. With hits like “Scandal im Sperrgebiet”, “Schickeria” and “Where are you?”.
