13th gun of the south zone held at the Vattyoorkau shooting range
The shooting championship will end today. About 580 shooters from the states of Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Karnataka, Andhra and Telangana participated in the championship.
The events are 10 m air pistol, 25 m standard pistol, 25 m center fire pistol, 25 m sport pistol and 50 m free pistol. Shooters who qualify for the South Zone Championship will participate in the National Shooting Championship. The championship started on the 5th of this month.
Dronacharya Prof Sunny Thomas inaugurated the championship. The conclusion of the championship and the distribution of the prizes will be held today at 4 pm. The Vattyoorkao shooting range will also host the 16th All India GV Mavlankar Shooting Championship from the 16th to the 22nd of this month.
