As we have already informed, in the years 2022-2024 Samsung Electronics Poland Manufacturing intends to increase its production capacity in Wronki. The new investment project assumes an increase in the number of manufactured products by over 30% per year.
Construction of a new factory and expansion of the existing one, increase of production capacity from 4 million to 5.2 million units per year and creation of 60 new jobs – Samsung Electronics Poland Manufacturing declares after receiving the decision to support the investment.
It is with great satisfaction that I am informed that another company from South Korea has decided to develop its business projects in Poland. The decision to support the investment in Wronki is one of seven hundred and thirteen that in the entire – record-breaking in this respect – 2021 was granted to entrepreneurs operating within the Polish Investment Zone. According to the Ministry of Development and Technology, the total investment expenditure that the company intends to incur in connection with the implementation of the multi-stage project, according to the investor, amounts to a total of approx. PLN 900 million. For this purpose, in December 2021, Samsung Electronics Poland Manufacturing sp. Z oo received public aid in the amount of PLN 86 million, of which PLN 23.5 million was obtained from the grant program. The remaining part is the CIT exemption for activities in the Kostrzyn-Słubice Special Economic Zone. On December 30, 2021, Samsung Electronics Poland Manufacturing received a decision to support the investment from the Kostrzyn-Słubice SEZ. On the same day, the South Korean company also signed an agreement under the Program for supporting investments of significant importance to the Polish economy for 2011-2030. The investor undertook to incur expenditures in the amount of PLN 673.2 million (with a declaration of creating 60 new jobs). The project consists in increasing the production capacity of an existing company, which specializes in the production of washing machines, refrigerators and parts for them – we read in the announcement.
This is one of 713 decisions issued in 2021 as part of the Polish Investment Zone.
