Jānis Aišpurs: “The tour has started. Even though only two out of 14 concerts have been played, we are happy. I would be lying if I said that there was no excitement in the band camp, and there is still a little bit of excitement now – even though we are the same, the songs have new arrangements, and there are also different instruments being played. We counted that there are a total of 14 instruments on stage. We were really looking forward to the start of the tour and now that it has happened, we are very happy and satisfied to meet again, how the audience lives and sings along!”
The future concerts of the acoustic concert series “By one fire” will take place in Valmiera, Alūksne, Sigulda, Jelgava, Rēzekne, Liepāja, Riga, Madona, Saldus and Ventspils. The tour was supplemented with two additional concerts in Saldus and Sigulda. Sigulda’s concerts will be filmed by “ReTv”. At the same time, the concert of this program at the “Silver Seagull” festival at the Liepupe Town Hall on April 26 was naturally included in the tour.
The group “The Sound Poets” consists of Jānis Aišpurs, Undīne Balode, Kārlis Jost, Normunds Lukša and Pēteris Lunde.
