The debut album “Your story” released in 2013 by the group “The Sound Poets” is being reissued in the format of a record – only 300 individually numbered copies.
The tenth anniversary celebration of the album “Your story” will take place on October 13 at the Music House “Daile” and on October 14 at the Culture House “Wiktorija” in Liepāja. The concerts will be made special by the fact that, for the first time in the band’s history, the album will be performed in its entirety, and it will also be possible to purchase the record in vinyl format, moreover, concertgoers will be the first to experience this pleasure – considering the very limited wide circulation, this is not a bad bonus.
“While preparing for the anniversary concerts, we were all pleasantly overcome by a nostalgic feeling, and we will try to convey this feeling through music at the concerts as well. There is no doubt that it will be two cool and special evenings in Riga and Liepāja,” says Jānis Aišpurs, the group’s soloist, about the upcoming event.
The group “The Sound Poets” was founded in 2011, its first official concert was held in December of the same year in the concert hall on Zirgu Street, but two years later, the debut album “Tavs skasts” already received the award as the best at the Latvian Music Recording Annual Award “Zelta mikrofons” pop rock album.
