The Sound Poets: Acoustic Concert Series and New Album “Klusāk”

From November 15, you can meet the music group “The Sound Poets” in eight concert venues, including Bauska, with the acoustic concert program “Pie vienas uņu”. Although the name is the same as the spring tour, this one will be slightly different with the program, as well as the fact that it will be possible to take the acoustic versions home with you, the group’s representative Ilze Tormane-Kļaviņa informed the portal.

“Acoustic programs have become our second identity, so to speak, there are people waiting for them. Therefore, we continue to get to know various concert venues in Latvia. Also, more than once after the acoustic concerts, we have received a question where you can listen to this particular version of the song. Therefore, we decided that these questions and arrangements cannot be left without attention and decided that we will create a selection of songs from all previous acoustic tours that we love,” says Jānis Aišpurs, the band’s musician.

He revealed that this is the band’s fifth studio album, featuring a selection of 12 songs in a specially created acoustic arrangement. The album “Klusāk” was recorded in the summer and autumn of 2023 in the studio of Latvian Radio 1 and in the studio of the group.

From Friday, November 3, the new record can be heard on the group’s streaming platforms, while the physical album will be the first to be heard by visitors to acoustic concerts.
