The Councilor for Culture, Jesús Bárez, explained that this cycle is an example of the initiatives that they wanted to organize with the start-up of the municipal film facilities, beyond the independent film premieres that are being hosted so far.
Bárez also recalled that together with LaCaixa, an exhibition on cinema in 1900 can be seen in Soria.
The City Council’s film cultural manager, Lucas Fernández, has been in charge of reeling off this cycle that arises from the high number of documentary pieces of interest that had not been able to premiere in Mercado Cinemas due to the weight of the current programming.
These are pieces “of varied themes” that will allow us to know recent documentaries, mostly released in 2019 or 2020. In addition, several of the national managers of these pieces could be in Soria explaining details of the production, although it will depend on the health situation .
The price of the tickets is 10 euros and the entry for each session is 3 euros. The subscription can only be purchased at the box office of the cinemas.
