The sonorous colors of the Mediterranean return with Fan Chaabi – Culture and Entertainment

TRENTO – Fan Chaabi are the protagonists of the concert Friday 22 November, at 9pm at the Circolo Reversi in San Martino in Trento for the PolicarpiLive event.

Fan Chaabi is a Mediterranean ethnic music project born in Trento and carried out with passion since 2010.

Fan Chaabi’s music exalts contamination, the meeting between different peoples and cultures, as a main value which over the centuries has led to the evolution of styles and rhythms that still enchant and invite us to dance today.

Dirges, tarantellas, tammurriate, popular protest songs, gypsy dances they dialogue and mingle in the engaging journey that leads us to feel the heart of the Mediterranean, a crossroads of civilizations and a land of migrants, passing through the Iberian peninsula, crossing southern Italy and arriving in the Balkans.

Their first album entitled Tetraktys was released in 2022, edited by the Visage Music record label. During their musical career, the band has had the opportunity to perform with various artists from the Trentino and national scene.

The group is made up of Silvia Lo Sapio (vocals and percussion), Martina D’Amico (sax and vocals), Davide Prezzo (guitars and vocals), Michele Bolognese (mandolin, bouzouki and percussion) and Michele Bazzanella (bass and drum).
