The Cuban singer Descemer Bueno has been characterized by a career full of successes, what many may not know is that these have come mostly in an area not known to everyone.
And, although as a singer he has covered urban genre songs, such as Dancing or the opposition anthem Homeland and LifeIn fact, Bueno has stood out more internationally as a composer.
The urban singer has stood out for collaborating with great artists, as it was recently announced he did with the Spanish Enrique Iglesias, for whom he composed three of the songs on his farewell album, Final Vol.2.
Also for Iglesias, he composed the song Cry me a riverwhich he sang in collaboration with the Mexican Belinda, which to date is a success with more than 171 thousand views.
Also for the Mexican, Descemer made the song Where are youfrom 2019, where he also joined him on vocals, a song that has 163 thousand views.
On the other hand, the Cuban has been the mind behind half of Panicthe most recent album by Puerto Rican Vico C, one of the pioneers of rap in Spanish, with more than 30 years of experience.
Even when he has participated as a singer, he has also done so in the composition, as happened with the protest song Homeland and Lifein which he not only lent his voice, but was involved in its creation along with Maykel Osorbo, Beatriz Luengo and Yotuel Romero.
Unfortunately, that collaboration had an unfortunate end, after Bueno quarreled with Romero over royalties for the so-called “opposition anthem”, fueling the attacks of the Cuban regime, which accused the artists of only having released the song for money.
Bueno later claimed that he had only participated in Homeland and Life because he had been “tricked by the wolves”, separating himself from the opposition and claiming that the song had been a mistake.
Despite everything, Descemer continues to achieve success, a success that is not recent at all, since Bueno also participated as a composer and singer on Haydée Milanés’s first album, in 2004.
