In this way, we will be able to listen to the 18 proposals of the artists for the first time: The countdown begins to listen to the songs of the Benidorm Fest 2023. The 18 songs aspiring to represent Spain in the next Eurovision Song Contest will be known on December 19. A date on which the 18 artists in the contest will also star in a press conference to share their first sensations with the media after finding out about their bets to win over the audience. ‘I want to burn’, by Agoney; ‘Since you are here’ by Alfred García; ‘I would like’, by Alice Wonder; ‘Flamenco’, by Aritz Aren; ‘EaEa’, by Blanca Paloma; ‘Whew!’ from the girl band E’ffemme; ‘La Lola’ by Famous; ‘My family’ by Fusa Nocta; ‘Winters on Mars’ by José Otero; ‘I want and mourn’ by Karmento; ‘Arcadia’ from Megara; ‘They will not move us’ by Meler; ‘Traction’ by Rakky Ripper; Sharonne’s ‘Air’; ‘Que esclati tot’ by Siderland; ‘Tuki’ by Sofía Martín; ‘Sayonara’ by Twin Melody; and ‘Nighttime’ by Vicco’. What will be done with the victory?
Although at the moment it is difficult to have a favorite candidate (not even the participants themselves have it), next December 19 there will be many people who begin to position themselves. The competition begins and the Festival too!
It should be remembered that the Benidorm Fest 2023 will be held from January 31 to February 4. This last day will be the final in which it will be decided which Spanish representative we will send to Liverpool.
The Beniform Fest: a true television phenomenon
After the success of the first edition of the Benidorm Fest 2022, we are not surprised that it has achieved recognition from the Iris Academy Awards. This year it has won the awards for best program, best production and critics’ award 2022 “for being a transmedia event that has revitalized the Eurovision brand and has valued the public service work of RTVE”.
Without a doubt, this 2023, the Benidorm Fest will give people talk again. Can’t wait to hear all the songs!
